Persepsi Dokter Gigi terhadap Pelayanan Teledentistry dalam Menjaga Keberlangsungan Pelayanan di Masa Pandemi COVID-19: Scoping Review

Abstract
Dokter gigi merupakan salah satu profesi yang beresiko tinggi tertular virus COVID-19 karena interaksinya yang sangat dekat dengan jalur transmisi virus saat bekerja. Teledentistry, yang merupakan bagian dari telemedicine, mengalami peningkatan dalam permintaan sebagai alternatif layanan tatap muka yang aman di masa pandemi. Persepsi dokter gigi penting untuk dipertimbangkan dalam melihat prospek teledentistry di masa mendatang. Scoping review ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perspektif dan pengalaman dokter gigi maupun mahasiswa kedokteran gigi terhadap teledentistry selama pandemi COVID-19. Pencarian literatur dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2022 melalui 4 database (Scopus, Proquest, Pubmed, dan EBSCO Host). Sebanyak 15 artikel diikutsertakan dalam studi. Seluruh artikel merupakan studi cross-sectional yang menggunakan kuesioner untuk pengambilan data. Pengetahuan terhadap teledentistry meningkat setelah pandemi dan berbanding lurus dengan tingkat pendidikan serta pengalaman praktisi. Praktisi yang lebih berpengalaman juga memiliki sikap yang lebih positif terhadap teledentistry. Mayoritas studi setuju teledentistry memberikan banyak manfaat, namun banyak juga yang mengkhawatirkan keterbatasannya sehingga praktik teledentistry masih tergolong rendah. Teledentistry masih diminati oleh dokter gigi dan mahasiswa di masa mendatang. Pelatihan terkait diperlukan untuk mendorong kompetensi praktisi dan meningkatkan utilisasi teledentistry.
