Hubungan Screen Time Smartphone dengan Kejadian Depresi pada Masyarakat Usia 15-22 Tahun
Abstract
Kehidupan masyarakat sehari-hari sekarang sudah tidak dapat terlepas dari penggunaan smartphone. Penggunaan smartphone yang berlebihan diketahui dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan mental. Salah satu kesehatan mental yang dapat dipengaruhi penggunaan smartphone berlebihan dan sedang marak dibicarakan pada zaman modern ini adalah depresi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hubungan antara screentime smartphone terhadap kejadian depresi. Desain penelitian ini bersifat potong lintang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online melalui Google Form (G-form). Data yang dikumpulkan berupa identitas, screentime dari screenshot smartphone responden, dan tingkat depresi yang diukur menggunakan Zung Depression Scale (ZDS). Terdapat sebanyak 135 responden dalam rentang usia 15-22 tahun. Mayoritas responden menggunakan smartphone selama ≥6 jam/hari (83,7%). Hasil kuesioner ZDS menunjukkan bahwa responden sebagian besar tidak mengalami depresi (71,11%). Uji chi-square menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara screentime terhadap tingkat depresi.
