Blockchain – Sebuah Inovasi Teknologi Menuju Smart Hospital

Abstract

Blockchain yang dikenal sebagai teknologi yang mendasari mata uang kripto memiliki potensi untuk memberikan perubahan dalam industri kesehatan. Teknologi ini merupakan sebuah sistem penyimpanan catatan transaksi digital yang memiliki karakteristik terdesentralisasi, immutable, transparan, dan tidak membutuhkan perantara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis artikel yang berhubungan dengan potensi aplikasi teknologi blockchain dalam manajemen rumah sakit melalui tinjauan literatur. Penelusuran literatur dilakukan pada 3 online database (PubMed, Scopus, dan ProQuest). Artikel dipilah dengan membaca judul, abstrak, dan naskah lengkap. Kriteria inklusi pada penelitian ini adalah artikel dalam Bahasa Inggris, artikel diterbitkan pada tahun 2018-2022, dan hasil penelitian berhubungan dengan aplikasi teknologi blockchain dalam manajemen rumah sakit. Dua puluh dua studi menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi blockchain memiliki potensi manfaat di dalam manajemen rumah sakit, antara lain dalam manajemen rekam medis elektronik, rantai pasokan farmasi, uji klinis, kredensial tenaga kesehatan, klaim asuransi kesehatan, dan telemedisin. Penelitian lebih lanjut masih perlu dilakukan karena sebagian besar studi membahas potensi manfaat, namun belum mengevaluasi implementasi nyata teknologi blockchain dalam bidang manajemen rumah sakit.
