Peningkatan Fungsi Notaris dalam Era Digital Melalui Cyber Notary
Abstract
The rapid development of information and communication technology has an impact on legal traffic, not least in the work of a notary. Currently, a concept of digitization is developing in notary work practices, known as cyber notary. However, this development has not been accompanied by adequate regulations and raises legal questions whether the notary's field of work can be carried out with the concept of cyber notary. In this study, the author wants to examine and analyze how cyber notary arrangements in Indonesia, as well as how the validity of a deed made with cyber notary, refers to the current laws and regulations. The author uses normative juridical research methods with analytical descriptive research types. The results showed that the concept of cyber notary in Indonesia may only be related to protocol storage or related to registration and request of letters to authorized officials. Making a notarial deed is still difficult to do electronically because the law has not accommodated this. In addition, making notarial deeds electronically will also make it difficult to achieve legal certainty.Downloads
