Efektivitas Pendampingan Kepala Sekolah dalam Penerapan Pendidikan Karakter untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Guru dalam Melaksanakan Pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of mentoring activities of the principal in strengthening character education for improving learning at Al-Azhar 2 Elementary School Bandar Lampung Indonesia, so that the ability of teachers to carry out learning increases by implementing strengthening character education. This study used a qualitative approach research design. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. Observations were made on the results of mentoring documents in the form of a review of the learning implementation plan and the results of observations of learning in class. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. The religious indicator on the first statement item number got results in general by 94.42% of respondents stated that they strongly agreed with the statement given by the researcher, and so on until the responsibility indicator on the last statement item number got results in general of 92.56% of respondents stated that they strongly agreed with the statement given by the researcher. Analysis of value data from the learning implementation plan review, showed that 100% of class teachers and subject teachers experienced an increase in their ability to compile learning implementation plan after participating in the strengthening character education implementation assistance when viewed from the number of grades, the average score of student acquisition before and after mentoring.
