Pengaruh Pre-Arrival Experience dalam Menentukan Pengambilan Keputusan untuk Melakukan Medical Tourism: A Scoping Review

Abstract

Medical tourism adalah sektor yang terus berkembang berkat meningkatnya permintaan akan layanan kesehatan berkualitas dengan biaya terjangkau. Kemajuan teknologi dan informasi memungkinkan individu untuk mencari perawatan medis di seluruh dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh faktor pre-arrival experience dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk melakukan perjalanan medical tourism. Tinjauan literatur ini melibatkan 13 artikel yang dipublikasikan antara 2013 dan 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pre-arrival experience diperoleh melalui informasi dari internet, pengalaman masa lalu, komunikasi mulut ke mulut, dan citra lokasi yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Faktor ini memengaruhi pengambilan keputusan wisatawan dalam melakukan perjalanan medical tourism, dengan pemberian pelayanan yang memberikan current experience yang pada gilirannya memengaruhi post experience wisatawan. Selain pre-arrival experience, faktor lain seperti kualitas pelayanan, kredibilitas penyedia layanan, fasilitas, biaya, serta kemudahan transfer dan akomodasi juga memengaruhi pengambilan keputusan dalam melakukan perjalanan medical tourism.
